With a tease of her hair, all black tight leather ensemble and cigarette to her red lips, she demands respect from her friends and commands attention from her man, bad boy Danny Zuko (John Travolta).
#2 Pretty Woman (1990)
Classic rags to riches story—Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts) entertains Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) in this classic romcom going from escort to a “classy woman”. Who could forget the scene when she could finally tell off the stuck up and pretentious saleswoman… “BIG MISTAKE!”
#1 Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
In this loveable film, Robin William’s character Daniel Hillard attempts to interact with his children by becoming devoted, elderly, female housekeeper, Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire. With a hilarious montage, a latex mask and the flair of Robin Williams the legendary role was created. Ve Neill, makeup artist known for her work on Edward Scissorhands and Pirates of the Caribbean, spent four and a half hours every day applying the intricate makeup. Dick Smith and Greg Cannom designed the multi-piece mask that would allow for various facial expressions. From there each individual blemish and wrinkle had to be formed and applied each day. Robin Williams would sit in the makeup chair for around 270 minutes each application. Mrs. Doubtfire went on to win an Oscar for Best Makeup in 1994—thanks for the laughs Robin!
